On Wednesday 23rd June Daylesford House in Gloucestershire GL56 0YG is opening its extensive gardens for the National Gardens Scheme.
The landscaped grounds were created in 1790 but have been greatly restored and enhanced by the present owners Lord and Lady Bamford under an organic regime. This is a substantial garden covering large distances with lakeside and woodland walks, wildflower meadows a large formal walled garden with working glasshouses. Secret garden, pavilion, orangery and formal pools.
The gardens are open from 1pm - 5pm. Light refreshments in aid of NSPCC will be available and the Admission cost is £6.00 per person.
